"SUMMERTIME, SUMMERTIME!!" FLOWER SHOW

Date: June 11th 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and June 12th 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Location: St. Joseph’s Parish Center at 130 Common Street, (at the corner of Common & School Streets), Belmont. Parking and entrance to the show are on School Street. The parish center is handicap accessible.

To celebrate our 80th year, the Belmont Garden Club is presenting “Summertime, Summertime!!” a standard flower show. The flower show will feature six floral design divisions with 4 entries each. One of the divisions is “window boxes” which has great seasonal appeal. There is also a horticultural division which will feature garden and house plants. There will be hundreds of named varieties on display for you to admire. There will also be educational displays about our Community Planting program, the Woodland Garden on the grounds of the Belmont Memorial Library, our Garden Therapy Program at Belmont Manor Nursing Home, & last year’s “Belmont in Bloom,” a flower show celebrating the Town of Belmont’s Sesquicentennial. There will truly be something for everyone. Families are encouraged to attend although no strollers please. The show is free of charge although donations are always welcome.
