Requirements for this scholarship shall be recommended by the Scholarship Committee of the Belmont Garden Club.
The applicant must be a resident of Belmont, Massachusetts, in good acamdemic standing, who has been accepted and plans to attend a two (2) year to four (4) year accredited institution, majoring in one of the following areas: Agriculture, Biology, Botany, Environmental Studies, Forestry, Horticulture, Landscape Design or a closely related field.
Two character recommendations and a personal interview shall be required. The student's performance may be reviewed in subsequent years with a continued scholarship for each year of study if approved by the Scholarship Committee of the Belmont Garden Club.
Tax deductible donations are gratefully accepted throughout the year.
